A Fort Collins man was arrested Saturday by the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office on multiple charges following a “fight” involving several people at a home on 35th Street Southwest in unincorporated Larimer County.
Shortly before 10 p.m., LCSO received a report that a stabbing victim was on his way to seek medical care. The victim was later located at an area hospital with serious injuries, but is expected to survive, according to an LCSO statement.
Deputies later located and arrested the suspect, 45-year-old Israel Reyes, who is accused of assaulting two other victims in the incident. He is also accused of spitting on the arresting officer, the release stated.
Reyes was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, first- and third-degree assault and third-degree assault on a peace officer.
According to LCSO, the suspect and victims were known to each other prior to the event, and there is no threat to the general public.
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with further information about the incident can contact investigator Ryan Gebhardt at 970-498-5586. If you wish to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers of Larimer County at 970-221-6868 or www.stopcriminals.com
