A MAN has been found dead at a house in Fife.
His death is being investigated by cops after emergency services were called to his home on Winifred Crescent, Kirkcaldy at 4.20 pm on Saturday.
Concern for him was reported, but when medics arrived at the scene he was found dead.
Police are treating the death as unexplained, as reported by the Daily Record.
Officers are looking into the situation but have said the circumstances of his death were not suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “ We were made aware of concern for a 40-year-old man at a property on Winifred Crescent in Kirkcaldy around 4.20pm on Saturday, March 18.


“Emergency services attended but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“His death is being treated as unexplained but there are no apparent suspicious circumstances. A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
This comes after the Scottish Sun reported that a sudden death probe has been launched after a man died at a Scots home.
The 22-year-old tragically died on March 12 at the home in Admirals View in Inverness.
Cops were called to the property in the Westhill area of the city.
The cause of the young man’s death is not known.
