O2 has just dropped an absolute blinder of a deal on Apple’s second-generation AirPods.
The iconic, white-coloured earbuds have been reduced from £139 to just £99 in a limited-time price drop.

Head to the O2 site, and you can either pay the full £99 upfront for the AirPods or spread the cost across £12 months.
Now priced in the double-digits (well, just) this is the lowest price we’ve ever seen.
We haven’t seen many major discounts on Apple’s various earbuds so far this year, and we were frankly a bit taken a back when we spotted this discount tucked away on the O2 site.
Typically it’s Amazon where we see the best offers on AirPods – but you’ll be paying almost £10 more for them there.
Our tech editor Sean Keach first tried out this slick set of earbuds back when they were released in 2019 – in his Airpods review, he describes them as ‘a masterclass in design’ and ‘the ultimate earbuds for iPhone owners.’
Yes, they’ve since been succeeded by the third-generation AirPods, which were released in 2021, but you can expect to pay £159 for these beauties.
Ultimately, the £40 price drop on the 2nd-generation AirPods set them up as the perfect choice of Apple audio tech for anybody spending on a budget.
However, if you’re after noise cancellation, it’s the AirPods Pro that you should put on your shopping list instead – these can be picked up from Amazon for £239.
