It means you’ll be able to access more than five million tracks at no extra cost on your iPhone.

And it’s all thanks to the new Apple Music Classical app.

The tech giant has made the new service available after launching iOS 16.4.

It’s designed specifically for classical music and is a standalone app separate from the main Apple Music one.

Apple says the app is “the world’s largest classical music catalogue”.

It offers audio quality of up to 192kHz/24-bit Hi-Res lossless sound – with thousands of recordings available in 3D ‘Spatial Audio’.

According to Apple, the service is filled with a mix of old masterpieces and new releases, as well as thousands of exclusive albums.

You can search by composer, work, conductor and catalogue number.

It shows things like composer biographies and work descriptions to find out who created the track – and what it actually means.

Apple has also commissioned a series of exclusive digital portraits depicting some of the world’s greatest composers.

So you can stare deeply into the eyes of Beethoven, Chopin or Bach while you listen to their world-famous works.

You can bag Apple Music Classical as a free add-on to Apple Music if you have an Individual, Student, Family or Apple One subscription.

However it’s not included if you only have the Apple Music Voice Plan.
