The hottest man in footy is off the market.
Bailey Smith, Instagram’s most-followed AFL player, is quietly dating Gemma Dawkins, the Herald Sun reported.
Smith, 21 has become a cult figure of the AFL after a stellar finals campaign in 2021 for the Western Bulldogs… not to mention his iconic blonde mullet and six-pack.
The young couple stepped out last month at the Grand Prix, but don’t plan on sharing much of their private lives with neither craving the spotlight, according to the publication.
Smith is the first menswear ambassador for Cotton On, with his ripped physique up on billboards across Melbourne.
Last week he joked about his partner’s dad noticing the eye-catching pictures.
“It’s funny. My girlfriend’s dad drives past it every day,” Smith told Code.
“It’s hilarious… it’s interesting but I don’t pay too much attention to it. I try not to. I just focus on my footy, because that’s what comes first, and all those other rewards with Cotton On and Monster come after that.”
The 21-year-old revealed in October how fame had impacted his mental health.
“I acknowledge (the attention), I know it’s there, it is the elephant in my brain, but I ignore it as much as I can,” he told the Common Chaos podcast.
The gun midfielder has already established himself as an integral part of the Bulldogs’ line-up, playing all 66 possible games since being drafted in 2018 — including the 2021 Grand Final.
