Two people died and another five were injured after a T-bone crash sent a smashed-up car spiraling into pedestrians in Brooklyn on Monday, police said.
The wreck happened just before 1 p.m. when a 49-year-old man lost control of his car on 18th Avenue in Bensonhurst and apparently blew threw a red light before ramming into another vehicle at the intersection of 64th Street, cops said.
Surveillance footage shows the two cars colliding with each other and spinning out of control, with one barreling onto the sidewalk and another down the street.
Car parts were littered across the pavement and sidewalk as first responders rushed to get the victims loaded into ambulances, additional footage from the aftermath shows.
Two people were rushed to Maimonides Hospital but could not be saved, cops said.

One person was critical at the hospital and four others were hospitalized but stable, according to police. It’s unclear if the driver of the smashed-up car was among them, or among those killed.
The driver of the out-of-control car remained on the scene and was taken into custody on unknown charges.
